Well, guys, I know this video is long overdue, especially since I filmed it almost a year ago, but it is finally here and I am glad that I was able to get this out for your viewing pleasure.
Compared to New Jersey Transit, the cosmetic appearance of some of the equipment is terrible, especially with the unit leading this train, General Electric P32AC-DM #203. It is truly in desperate need for a paint job.

4535 also sounded like that
The sound you hear at the end is them putting on a handbrake. It's a pump style handbrake so they crank it on and then do a rollback test to test it by releasing all the brakes and seeing if it rolls. Then they release all the air and the engineer changes ends, charges back up and goes the other direction.

6002 wears a slightly older K5LA than 6004. #6002 isn't as loud here because #1 it's being sounded with Low-high sequences, and #2 the bonnets on the horn slightly mute it's volume. Interesting facts. I've seen that video a few times and it was impressive. Honestly, the horn in this clip may not be the best, but I'm cool with what I've caught. Luckily, I was able to catch 6002 with the engineer really laying down the horn here. ruclips.net/video/Cpn5Jxk268A/видео.html
@@AaronTheEagle1 6002 & 6009 wear same order K5LAs both of which are 29K horns. The 6000 & 6004 also wear sister K5s both in the 30K range. The reason #6004 sounds the way it does is because it has a dead #5 bell which ended up doing so sometime around the 2006-2007 timeframe.

@@AaronTheEagle1 Your welcome, I've been studying horns and whistles for the better part of ten years. And I also have a good network of sources made up of fellow collectors and railroad employees.
I’m currently trying to figure out what’s going on with 6004s horn. There is a clip of 6004 from 2004 at South Amboy, though I’m not sure the #5 is dead or not. I will say that the horn in the clip from 2004 didn’t have a noticeable warble between the 1 and 5.
